HOF CHOCOLATE is dedicated to quality, to the authentic exclusivity of single origin confections, coffee & wine pairing, so seductive but at the same time elevating.

A new, more sophisticated chocolate culture is emerging and we pride ourselves on helping shape it. We do this by sourcing single origin beans, supporting responsible farming practices, use of organic ingredients and substituting "low-grade" sugars like glucose and high fructose corn syrup with honey and other pure alternatives.
Cacao flavor and quality vary from different regions and countries; Flavor pairing is a science and an art.
Our aim is to select the best beans, showcase their magnificent profile and elevate them in a way that enhances their flavor with pairing suggestions and/or the use of additional pure ingredients. Whether it be our SINGLE ORIGIN bean to bars, SIGNATURE Chocolates made with honey (not sugar), SPECIAL EDITION Blood Truffles, CRYSTALIZED edible flowers, or SEASONAL hand-dipped cherries, our aim is always the same, to provide chocolate lovers an experience like never before.
On an unscripted 12 day journey from high up in the Inca Mountains of Peru down into the jungle filled with green foliage and waterfalls, in an almost primitive way, I was introduced to the origin of chocolate. Eating whatever we could find on the way, I climbed a tree thinking I was picking a fresh papaya to find something very unexpected inside; a divine moment that I'll never forget.
2008 - Quality is everything to me. Romancing my desire for quality and sophistication to my European roots, I grew up eating fresh food from my grandparents garden, clean water from a well. I was taught health and vitality starts with natural, organic, additive free foods and I was entranced by the irresistible cacao, learning to make it from scratch.
With an obsession with perfection and deepening my understanding of traditional chocolate making, I studied through Ecole Chocolat and moved to Calgary, AB to work under Bernard Callebaut.
Without altering my recipes I submitted the original Rose & Lemon Chocolate I had been making for my own pleasure and won Silver at the 2015 International Chocolate Awards – Canada.

Meet Chocolatier Christina Marie
2016 – With an unwavering dedication to quality, she built her own bee hives and has her own gardens right in Calgary where
she harvests her own honey and flowers for use in her SIGNATURE DARK Chocolate Line.
Present – She is now working on developing a new bean to bar line, conjuring up the most legendary limited edition confections, and delicate chocolate sculptures to impress. All with the aim to create chocolate almost too beautiful to eat… Chocolate that inspires people to believe they are worthy and deserving of the best there is.
